All About Prosperous Parks

At a time when many parks face an uncertain future, Prosperous Parks hopes to help secure a sustainable future for more open spaces across the country by providing community groups, park managers, land owners and local authorities with ideas and information about sustainable commercial income for parks.

The Prosperous Parks team would like to thank everyone involved, especially the people doing incredible things at the parks featured in these case studies.

The Partners

The Land Trust

The Land Trust is an independent Charitable Trust with influential partners, members and trustees. We manage open spaces on behalf of and in partnership with local communities.

The Big Lottery Fund is the largest distributor of National Lottery good cause funding and is responsible for giving out 40% of the money raised for good causes by the National Lottery. Since 2004 it has awarded close to £6 billion to projects supporting health, education, environment and charitable purposes.

Using money raised through the National Lottery, the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) gives grants to sustain and transform our heritage. From museums, parks and historic places to archaeology, natural environment and cultural traditions we invest in every part of our diverse heritage.
